i just found out that the guy who plays keyboard their black holes and revelations tour is Morgan Nicholls.
he played bass for them in a tour in 2004 when chris broke his arm, has
worked with The Gorillaz, and plays bass and guitar for The Streets.
That is probably part of the reason for The Streets being part of the Wembley lineup.
just thought that was some cool info.
I saw Muse at austin city limits last sumer and, needless to say, they were magnificent. The crowd aroung them was like a diffrent world than the rest of the park. A sea of jumping singing/yelling blue lit people. it was intensely amazing.
then i stood in line for autographs for an hour in the rain, and a fat
man in a red poncho cut the line off five people in front of me. of
course i was like "no way in hell". so i ran/dodged around him and was
one of the last 4 people who got autographs. o.m.g.
and mat put "to sharla, love matt" and spelled my name right. no one ever does that.
im praying they come to ACL next year.
i went to a Ratatat concert last night, and it was AMAZING!
it started a friken hour late and i was already really tired but i danced the whole time any way. it was over at like 2.
and during the encore a bunch of people in the audience (including me)
got up and danced on the stage behind them. it was so awesome. and at
the end the bassist gave me a hug! FUCK YEAH!
I got home at 3. dint even put on my pajamas just fell into bed.
before the concert i went to the girls soccer game and we lost. so that sucked. but ratatat was good enouh that it dint matter.
dood the music was so loud my ears were ringing for hours. and the bass (i was right at the front) like vibrated my teeth.
crazyness!
